Daimler

The history of Daimler automobiles dates back to the 1830s. Gottlieb Daimler was born in Schorndorf, Germany, and trained as a gunsmith. He toured France and England before completing his technical studies at the Polytechnic School of Stuttgart. Between 1862 and 1865, he worked as a draftsman and workshop inspector before meeting Wilhelm Maybach.
